Scott Worthington, AIA, LEED AP
Principal
Scott joined BDS in 1999 as Project Manager and Senior Architect. He is a licensed LEED Accredited Professional with more than 30 years of Alaska architecture experience. His work includes the Chugiak High School Renewal, Sitka High School Performance Center & Auditorium, and a variety of Fire & Life Safety facilities across the state including MOA Fire Station #4, Kachemak Emergency Services Area Fire Station in McNeil Canyon, and Diamond Ridge Fire Station near Homer.
With a fine arts background, Scott is known for blending art, function, and practicality within his designs. He has a reputation for being approachable and cooperative with clients and engineers. An avid sports fan, Scott spends winter weekends skiing at Alyeska and over the years has coached Little League, high school, and American Legion baseball.
